Call for papers
The organisers and the Programme Committee invite proposals for the 2017 Medieval and Renaissance Music Conference, to be held in Prague (Czech Republic), under the auspices of the Minister of Culture of the Czech Republic.
Main areas to be considered:
1) Musical Culture of Central Europe
2) Music and Reformation
As the Medieval and Renaissance Music Conference is a forum for discussion on current research, we welcome proposals on any relevant topic within the given period.
Conference languages:
German, English, French, Italian, Spanish
Possible formats of presentations include, but are not limited to:
- individual papers of 20 minutes
- paired papers
- themed sessions
- round tables
- workshops/ lecture-recitals
- posters
The conference will include a dedicated poster session.
Due to organisational reasons, we kindly ask for information about planned group sessions sent per e-mail before January 27, 2017 to Lenka Hlávková, lenka.hlavkova@ff.cuni.cz
The e-mail should include:
- title of the session
- chair (if known)
- names of all participants
- total required duration (blocks of 90 minutes are preferred)
- short description of contents
The application and registration process will proceed through a special on-line application accessible from the end of January. The link will be published at the websites www.medrenconference.org and medren.ff.cuni.cz
Deadline for application and preliminary registration (individual for each participant):

Medieval and Renaissance Music Conference 2017 is organised by Institute of Musicology, Faculty of Arts, Charles University and Association for Central European Cultural Studies.
